Levels of CRHESI Involvement in Projects
CRHESI is involved in research projects at one of three levels. This organizing logic assists CRHESI members, leads and the Executive Committee in deciding how involved CRHESI is in specific projects. A fundamental assumption is that the topic of the project is aligned in terms of CRHESI content areas and principles.

CRHESI member is a primary or co-primary applicant / investigator and identifies CRHESI as a lead organization in the project.
CRHESI, as an organization and/or via a member lead, is a collaborator providing resources but does not bear responsibility for the project.
CRHESI, as an organization and/or via a member lead, is a contributor to the project, supporting specific needs that benefit the community and/or Western’s academic mission, including capacity

Responding to Family Violence in the Context of Migration
Muslim Resource Centre for Social Support and Integration, the Centre for Research on Health Equity and Social Inclusion, and the Centre for Research & Education on Violence Against Women & Children, co-hosted a forum on Responding to Family Violence in the Context of Migration.
Peer Driven Work in Housing and Homelessness for Health Equity
A knowledge exchange forum on peer work in housing and homelessness took place on November 27, 2023. Strummed in by local musician, Dan Crow, led by the Peer Navigator Project with support from CRHESI, peer workers from multiple organizations, their co-workers and leaders, and researchers gathered at Innovation Works, in downtown London.
