Equality Trust Workshop: Rural Poverty (19 Nov 2021 at 8:00 – 09:30 AM EST)

Professor of Social and Health inequalities Kaz Stuart from Cumbria University and Chair of Fair Frome Bob Ashford will be our speakers. They will talk about the gross inequalities in rural areas and how there are multiple layers of disadvantage that are unseen and unexplained. They will also talk about the lack of awareness of these inequalities from wealthier residents who are often oblivious to the consequences of this divide.
