Gender-Based Violence, Pain, Trauma & the Brain – Half-Day Event

Are you interested in learning more about how gender-based violence, pain, and trauma affect the brain and cognition?

Join us for a half-day, in-person event bringing together researchers, service providers, and community members to explore these important and interconnected topics. The morning will feature research presentations followed by a panel discussion with gender-based violence service providers.

This event is hosted by the Western Institute for Neuroscience, the Centre for Research on Health Equity and Social Inclusion (CRHESI), KnowPain, and the Lawson Research Institute.
